The Konix Multi-system Games

Here are the know games that were either in development for the Konix Multi-system or had been planed to be. Some have screen shots from magazines and some have videos provided with kind permission of Jon Dean (the guy that actually filmed them). Please don't distribute or re-produce these videos as they remain Jon Dean's Copyright.

Flight Simulator - Konix Software

Flight Simulator

Although I can't see the Multi-system throwing you around as much as an Afterburner arcade machine - it could still have given an illusion of movement which would have worked really well. With fledgling 3D graphics, the landscapes you flew over might have been a bit sparse and there may have been very few obstacles to avoid. However this is me being very reserved prior to exploding in a burst of excitement.

Bang!

Opps... I've burst. Regarding the prospect of being able to play an Afterburner style game in the home, the developers had their work cut out to make it an exhilarating game, and it's fascinating to wonder if it would have been 2D or 3D... We'll possibly never know!

From the press cutting: "Full Combat FLIGHT SIMULATOR" - yes, I know it's brief, but it's some sort of validation...

Of course, as with a lot of things regarding the Multi-system project - there was a lot of speculation and optimism regarding the potential the machine had, and it really was a matter of saying that the Multi-system should have this particular game or feature and a fair amount of "Wouldn't it be good if..." about the design and promotion of the machine.
It's easy to be cynical and suggest that if no pictures exist of certain suggested games or peripherals then it's purely conjecture. However I'm still labouring under the assumption that if we talk to enough developers, conformation of certain products may float to the surface.
